West Point Inn Wonders: A Day on Mt. Tam
A journey to the West Point Inn is like stepping into a storybook. Our group set out along the sun-dappled trails of Mt. Tamalpais, winding through redwoods and coastal views that made us all pause and breathe a little deeper.
We took our time—laughing, sharing stories, and finding joy in the rhythm of the walk. At the historic inn, we picnicked on the deck with sweeping views of the Bay below, where friendships formed over sandwiches and shared snacks. For some, it was their first time on a mountain trail. For others, it was a reminder of nature’s quiet magic.
The hike offered more than just views—it gave space to connect, to feel safe, seen, and supported. We ended the day tired and proud, with cheeks rosy from the wind and hearts filled with calm.
A Sweet Day on the Crosstown Trail
A day on the San Francisco Crosstown Trail is part hike, part treasure hunt. They followed winding paths through hidden parks, climbed mosaic stairs, and stumbled upon stunning views—all far from the usual tourist spots.
Mid-hike, a well-earned ice cream stop hit the spot, followed by a cozy café break with hot chocolate and people-watching. Along the way, there were murals, wildflowers, secret swings, and lots of laughter.
By sunset, they were tired but glowing—legs sore, phones full of photos, and hearts full of joy. The Crosstown Trail turned out to be the perfect mix of nature, city, and sweet little surprises.
Across the Bay: Angel Island Ferry Adventure
The ferry to Angel Island felt like a fresh start—waves sparkling, wind in our hair, and the city skyline slowly slipping away. For many of us, it was the first time watching San Francisco from the water, and the excitement was contagious.
Once on the island, we explored at our own pace—some joined group walks, others relaxed on the grass with snacks and music. There were historic sites to discover, shaded spots to talk quietly, and moments of laughter echoing along the trails.
We created space for everyone—introverts, adventurers, first-time ferry riders—to feel welcome and included. On the ride home, we shared stories and watched the sun dip behind the Golden Gate. It was more than a trip—it was a day of connection, exploration, and feeling at ease in a world that often moves too fast.
